GCr15 steel is a kind of high carbon chromium bearing steel with less alloy content, good performance, it is the most widely used bearing steel. After quenching and tempering, it has high and uniform hardness, good wear resistance and high contact fatigue performance. The cold working plasticity of the steel is medium, the cutting performance is general, the welding performance is poor, the sensitivity to the formation of white spots is large, there is temper brittleness.

Heat treatment The heat treatment system is: steel rod annealing, steel wire annealing or 830-840 degrees oil quenching.
Heat treatment process parameters: 1. Ordinary annealing: 790-810 degrees heating, furnace cooling to 650 degrees, air cooling -- HB170-2072. Isothermal annealing: 790-810 degrees heating, 710-720 degrees isothermal, air cooling -- HB207-2293. Normalizing: 900-920 degrees heating, air cooling -- HB270-3904. High temperature tempering: 650-700 degrees heating, air cooling -- HB229-2855. Quenching: 860 degrees heating, oil quenching - HRC62-666. Low temperature tempering: 150-170 degrees tempering, air cooling - HRC61-667. Carbonitriding: 820-830 degrees of infiltration 1.5-3 hours, oil quenching, -60 degrees to -70 degrees of cryogenic treatment +150 degrees to +160 degrees of tempering, air cooling - HRC≈67 Manufacturing method of bearing steel smelting quality requirements are very high, the need to strictly control the content and distribution of sulfur, phosphorus and non-metallic inclinations, Because the content and distribution of non-metallic inclusions have a great impact on the life of bearing steel.
